News  >> News May 15, 2008: A meeting hosted by Inner Mongolia Lenon New Energy Liability Co. Ltd was held on April 30th in Huhhot, Inner Mongolia, to review the Feasibility Study on Molimiao Wind Farm 49.3MW Phase 1 Project in Keerqin, Inner Mongolia, which was edited by GrandTrend. Some experts and key personnel from the Development and Reform Committee of Inner Mongolia Province, the Development and Reform Bureau of Tongliao Municipality, Keerqin District Government, the Development and Reform Office of Keerqin District, Keerqin Land and Resource Department, Keerqin Environmental Protection Bereau, Inner Mongolia Wind Power Co., Ltd, Tongliao Changxing Wind Power Co., Ltd, and Beijing GrandTrend International Economic & Technical Consulting Co., Ltd attended the meeting. The project was approved with a drafted reviewing comment by the expert group. May 15, 2008: In order to meet the requirement of the development of GrandTrend and the preparation of GrandTrend Electric Power Design Institute, an extensive recruitment has been conducted since July 2007. ( New employees have been gradually on board till now)  They graduated from Tsinghua University, Daqing Petroleum Institute, Hunan University, Wuhan University of Technology, Capital University of Economy and Business, Harbin Institute of Technology, and some other key universities and colleges, and most of them are experienced with different modes of studying. Their different educational and working background will surely play an important role in the development of GrandTrend. April 25, 2008: As the fast expansion of GrandTrend’s business, a new set of GH WindFarmer Version 3.6.2 was purchased and has started to be used in the company to replace the original version of WindFarmer, which is commonly used in the world. April 22, 2008 : Consigned by Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd., on April 22th, 2008, Beijing GrandTrend International Economic & Technical Consulting Co., Ltd hosted a meeting reviewing the Preliminary Design on the Guohua Qijiashan Wind Electric Field (200MW) project in Shangyi, Hebei, which was formulated by Zhangjiakou Xianxing Electricity Design Co., Ltd. Altogether 46 key staff and experienced experts from related companies attended the meeting, including the Vice President, Mr. GUI Kai, from Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd.; the President, Mr. HAN Tao, and the Chief Engineer, Mr. WU Peihua, from Guohua Energy Co., Ltd.; the Director of Electrical Power Department, Mr. ZHAO Ruyi, from Zhangjiakou Xianxing Electricity Design Co., Ltd., the President Mr. XIAO Lejian, and the Chief Engineer Mr. WANG Yunjie, from Beijing GrandTrend International Economic & Technical Consulting Co., Ltd. The reviewing group is constituted by the Solar Energy Assessment Center of Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences, Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd., Guohua Energy Co., Ltd., Guohua (Hebei) New Resource Co., Ltd., North China Power Engineering (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Beijing Exploration and Design Institute of China Hydropower Consulting Group Co., China Power Construction Consulting Co., Ltd., and Beijing GrandTrend International Economic & Technical Consulting Co., Ltd, etc. April  15, 2008: Consigned by Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd., on April 10th, 2008, Beijing GrandTrend International Economic & Technical Consulting Co., Ltd hosted a meeting reviewing the Preliminary Design on the Guohua Bayan Zhuo’er (Wulate Middle Banner) Wind Electric Phase One Project, edited by East China Investigation and Design Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower. There were 37 participants in the meeting including the Vice President, Mr. GUI Kai, and the Chief Engineer Mr. SHI Yaowen, from Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd; the Project Manager of Planning and Development Department, Mr. LI Zhong, from Shenhua Group Corporation; the Vice Bureau Chief, Mr. ZHANG Guang, from the Development and Reform Commission of Wulate Middle Banner; the Vice President, Mr. YANG Zhifeng, and the Assistant to the President, Mr. WANG Yaobo, from CHINA WINDPOWER GROUP LIMITED; the President Mr. DIAO Shufeng, from Guohua Consonancy Wind Electric Co., Ltd; the President Mr. LIU Jingchun, from Heilongjiang Zhongzheng Project Management Co., Ltd.; the Head of New Resources Center, Mr. CHEN Dechun, from East China Investigation and Design Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower; the President Mr. XIAO Lejian, and the Chief Engineer Mr. WANG Yunjie, from Beijing GrandTrend International Economic & Technical Consulting Co., Ltd.; and some other key staff and specialists from related companies. The reviewing group is constituted with Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences, Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd., North China Power Engineering Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Power Exploration and Design Institute, and Beijing GrandTrend International Economic & Technical Consulting Co., Ltd, etc. Mar 19, 2008: On behalf of GrandTrend, the president Mr. Xiao Lejian extended a warm welcome to the visit of Mr. Zheng Hongxue, CPC Committee Secretary in General of Wengteniu Banner, Inner Mongolia, Mr. Yu Weidong, Deputy Banner Mayor, Mr. Yu Dehui, Head of Wind Electricity Office and former CPC Committee Deputy Secretary in General, as well as Zhao Ping, Deputy Chief of the Development and Reform Bureau. The two parties held a deep discussion on the prophase work and implementing plan of the wind electricity licensed project in Wengteniu Banner, which GrandTrend is going to recommend to National Development and Reform Commission on behalf of Inner Mongolia Municipality Government this year. After Mr. Zheng conveyed the comments from the Municipality Development and Reform Commission, an executive plan was confirmed by the two parties. GrandTrend will timely complete the prophase work and the application report of the project with high quality, in order to start the submitting process as soon as possible, and get longer time frame for the implementation of the licensed project. March 6, 2008: GrandTrend, together with Shenzhen Energy Investment Co.,Ltd., a long-term partner and key customer of GrandTrend, signed two agreements with Tongliao municipal government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region today. The two agreements are Tongliao Wind Power Project Development Framework Agreement and Cooperation Agreement on 300MW Wind Power Plant Construction in Yihetala of Kailu County of Inner Mongolia. General Manager of GrandTrend attended the signing ceremony upon invitation. At the ceremony, GrendTrend expressed that the company will continue to provide first rate engineering consulting service to Shenzhen Energy in the field of energy engineering, especially in new energy engineering. Present at the signing ceremony also included Xu Dingmin, Deputy Director of State Energy Office; representatives from State Development and Reform Commission; Zhao Gao, Chief of Power Division of Inner Mongolia Development and Reform Commission; Gao Zimin, Chairman of Shenzhen Energy; Li Bing, General Manager of Shenzhen Energy; Cao Hong, Vice General manager of Shenzhen Energy; Zhu Jianjun, Finance Director of Shenzhen Energy; directors from other related departments of Shenzhen Energy; Fu Tiegang, Mayor of Tongliao; Li Yonggang, Vice Mayor of Tongliao, Zhang Lihua, Director of Tongliao Development and Reform Commission, Secretary of CPC Kailu County Committee; Mayor of Kailu County, and officials from Electric Utility Bureau, Land and Resources Bureau, Environmental Protection Bureau and other governmental organizations. The signing of the two agreements today marked a substantial step forward for Shenzhen Energy in large scale new energy investment and development, and has enabled the in-depth cooperation between GrandTrend and Shenzhen Energy to enter a new phase. February 29, 2008: Zhao Yun, general manager of Wind Power Company under Inner Mongolia Energy and Power Generation Investment Co., Ltd,  Mr. Li Jun, deputy manager of the company and Mr. Fan Yuan, project manager visited GrandTrend.  Both sides had friendly exchanges on how to strengthen further cooperation between the two companies signed the pre-project consultancy contract and made arrangement on the work for next step including preparing feasibility report and having site visit. February 28, 2008: Mr. He Jiping, deputy chief engineer and construction and structure specialist of GrandTrend, and Mr. He Jiping, deputy manager of Project Department I, attended the internal review meeting on Feasibility Report of 1st Phase for Honghualiangfeng Wind Farm Project in Chongli County held by Airtricity Company at the Conference Center of Winterless Hotel in Beijing. They had serious discussion and review together with other experts at the meeting and arrived at a preliminary agreement.
