July 31, 2008: A meeting to review the Feasibility Study on Datang Duolun Daxishan Wind Farm Phase Two (30MW) Project, which was compiled by GrandTrend, was held at Binyue Hotel on July 30th in Huhhot, Inner Mongolia. Experts and representatives from the Development and Reform Commission of Inner Mongolia Municipality, the Development and Reform Commission of Xilingol League, the Government of Duolun County, the Development and Reform Bureau of Duolun County, the National Land and Resources Bureau of Duolun County, the Environment Protection Bureau of Duolun County, Inner Mongolia Power Group Co., Ltd., Datang (Chifeng) New Energy Co., Ltd., and Beijing GrandTrend International Economic and Technical Consulting Co., Ltd., etc, attended the meeting. After listening to the introduction to the project by GrandTrend, the participants had a thorough discussion and have approved its evaluation and demonstration in principle. Some suggestions to further develop the project were also pointed out at the meeting. July 24, 2008: A meeting to review the Feasibility Study on Arikunduleng Wind Farm Phase One (49.5MW) Project in Zhalute Banner, Inner Mongolia, of China Windpower Group Ltd. was held yesterday at Binyue Hotel in Huhhot, Inner Mongolia. The experts and representatives from the Development and Reform Commission of Inner Mongolia Municipality, the Development and Reform Commission of Tongliao City, the Government of Zhalute Banner, the Development and Reform Bureau of Zhalute Banner, the National Land and Resources Bureau of Zhalute Banner, the Environment Protection Bureau of Zhalute Banner, State Grid Northeast Company, China Windpower Group Ltd., Beijing Juhe Wind Power Project Design Co., Ltd., as well as Beijing GrandTrend International Economic & Technical Consulting Co., Ltd, attended the meeting. After listening to the presentation on the project given by GrandTrend, the participants had a thorough discussion on the content of the feasibility study, and principally approved its evaluation and demonstration. Some suggestions to further develop the project were also pointed out in the meeting. July 21, 2008: A meeting to review the Feasibility Study on the Yihe Wind Farm (300MW) Project of Shenzhen Energy, which was compiled by GrandTrend, was held in Beijing on July 18th, hosted by China Hydropower Engineering Consulting Institute and the Development and Reform Commission of Inner Mongolia Municipality. The experts and representatives from the National Land and Resources Hall of Inner Mongolia Municipality, the Environment Protection Bureau of Inner Mongolia Municipality, State Grid Northeast Company, Shenzhen Energy Group Co., Ltd., China Academy of Meteorological Science, the People’s Government of Tongliao City, the Development and Reform Bureau of Tongliao City, the National Land and Resources Bureau of Tongliao City, the Environment Protection Bureau of Tongliao City, the Electric Power Bureau of Tongliao City, the People’s Government of Kailu County, the Development and Reform Commission of Kailu County, the Wind Power Offce of Kailu County, the National Land and Resources Bureau of Kailu County, the Environment Protection Bureau of Kailu County, Wind Power Construction Preparation Office of Shenzhen Energy Group Co., Ltd., as well as Beijing GrandTrend International Economic & Technical Consulting Co., Ltd and some other related companies, attended the meeting. After listening to the presentation of the project by GrandTrend, based on the scientific and fair principle, the participants had a thorough discussion on the necessity of the project, the wind resource evaluation, construction range, project plan, estimated investment, and the economical evaluation, etc. They all agreed that the content and the analysis in the feasibility study corresponds with the National Development and Reform, Energy No. 2005, Compilation Regulation of Feasibility Study on Wind Farm Projects, and the evaluation and demonstration of the project was principally approved. Some suggestions and advice to further improve the project were also pointed out in the meeting. July 3, 2008: A meeting to review the Feasibility Study on the Phase One 49.5MW Project of Huaneng Tongliao Zhurihe Wind Farm, Section One, which was compiled by GrandTrend, was held in Huhhot, Inner Mongolia, on July 3rd, 2008. The experts and related designing staff from the Development and Reform Commission of Inner Mongolia Municipality, the Development and Reform Committee of Tongliao City, the Government of Kezuo Middle Banner, the Development and Reform Bureau of Kezuo Middle Banner, the National Land and Resources Bureau of Kezuo Middle Banner, the Environment Protection Bureau of Kezuo Middle Banner, State Grid Northeast Company, Huaneng Renewable Energy (holding) Co.Ltd, as well as Beijing GrandTrend International Economic & Technical Consulting Co., Ltd, attended the meeting. The participants had a thorough discussion after listening to the presentation about the project by GrandTrend. They agreed that the content and analysis in the feasibility study corresponds with the National Development and Reform, Energy No. 2005, Compilation Regulation of Feasibility Study on Wind Farm Projects, and the project was approved.
