News  >> News August 3, 2007:Inner Mongolia Lenon New Energy Liability Co., Ltd, entrusted by Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission, hosted a conference on August 2, 2007 in Hulun Beier Pinnacle Hotel to evaluate the feasibility study report on Phase 1 (49.5 MW) of Chenbaerhu Wind Power Farm Engineering Project in Huhun Beier, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, which is operated by Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd. The leaders and experts from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission, Hulun Beier Development and Reform Commission, Inner Mongolia Electric Power (Group) Co., Ltd., the People’s Government of Chenbaerhu Banner, Chenbaerhu Banner Development and Reform Commission, Chenbaerhu Banner Land and Resources Bureau, Chenbaerhu Banner Environmental Protection Bureau, Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd and GrandTrend. The related experts from Inner Mongolia Electric Power Design Institute, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Electric Power Corporation and some other institutes and companies were invited for evaluation. After a thorough examination, and scientific and just evaluation in the aspects of the necessity of project establishment, wind resources assessment, project scale, engineering scheme, investment estimation and economic evaluation, the experts unanimously agreed that the contents of the report, in a proper degree of depth, were basically in line with the State’s regulation (2005) on the development and reform of energy – Ways to Compile Feasible Study Report on Wind Power Farm Engineering, and gave a green light to the evaluation. Some suggestions on revision and supplement were given at the conference. August 1,  2007: GrandTrend today officially appointed Pu Xiaoxuan as secretary for the president. Pu, a computer engineering major, graduated from Jimei University in Fujian Province in July 2004. She started work as a secretary in GrandTrend in March 2006, and has been highly acclaimed for working passionately and diligently, and willingness to help others. August 1, 2007:Today GrandTrend officially appointed Meng Xueqiao as project chief of International Project Department I. Meng, a member of the Communist Party of China, graduated from Hydraulic and Electrical Engineering Department of Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electrical Engineering. She started in April 2007 wind power farm design and construction with GrandTrend. She has strong ability to study new knowledge and accumulate extensive design and construction experience. Working very hard, she has efficiently increased professional proficiency. August 1, 2007:GrandTrend today officially appointed Li Weipeng to be senior project chief of International Project Department I. After graduation from Tsinghua University in July 2006 with bachelor’s degree, Li started to work with GrandTrend from October 2006, engaged in wind resources calculation and evaluation, wind-electricity generating unit model selection and calculation of generated electricity. A member of Communist Party of China, Le has the ability to study intensively and independently and makes great efforts to perfect his professional proficiency. August 1, 2007:GrandTrend today officially appointed He Jiping to be vice-manager of International Project Department I. He Jiping, a Master’s degree holder and a member of the Communist Party of China, graduated from University of Science and Technology Beijing in April 2002. Since he was recruited in GrandTrend in April this year, he has been engaged in investment consultation, engineering consultation and project management. A diligent and capable engineer and outstanding team player, he has been working hard with great sense of responsibility and coordinating skill. July 22,2007:Entrusted by Hebei Development and Reform Commission, Shijiazhuang Engineering Consulting Institute held on July 20, 2007 in Ambassador Shijiazhuang Hotel a conference to evaluate the feasibility study report on Phase 2 (49.5 MW) of the Huanghua Wind Power Farm Engineering Project in Hebei Province operated by Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd. The chiefs and experts from Heibei Development and Reform Commission, Hebei Electric Power Corporation, Huanghua Land and Resources Bureau, Hebei Engineering Consulting Institute, Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd. and GrandTrend attended the conference. The relevant experts from North China Power Engineering Co., Ltd., Hebei Electric Power Design & Research Institute and Hebei Electric Power Corporation were invited for evaluation. All the participants were listening attentively to the introduction to the project by one of GrandTremd engineers in charge of compiling the feasibility study report. After a thorough examination, and scientific and just evaluation in the aspects of the necessity of project establishment, wind resources assessment, project scale, engineering scheme, investment estimation and economic evaluation, the experts unanimously agreed that the contents of the report, in a proper degree of depth, were basically in line with the State’s regulation (2005) on the development and reform of energy – Ways to Compile Feasible Study Report on Wind Power Farm Engineering, and gave a green light to the evaluation. The experts also made some suggestions on revision and supplement. July 20,2007:After careful comparison from such aspects as service rates and quality, technique, consulting records, comprehensive strength and corporate credibility, Huaneng Renewable Energy (Holding) Co., Ltd. finally chose GrandTrend to work out their two feasibility study reports – Feasibility Study Report of Inner Mongolia Keyou Mid-Banner Wind Power Farm (50 MW) Engineering Project and Feasibility Study Report of Inner Mongolia Wuchuan Wind Power Farm (50 MW) Engineering Project. GrandTrend has set up a group in charge of the work. Following high professional standard, the group will fulfill the work on schedule. July 16, 2007: GrandTrend has finished Report on the Plan of Hebei Huanghua Wind Power Farm invested by Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd. The 50,000 kW wind power project I, whose feasibility study report was compiled by GrandTread, has started construction by Guohua Investment Co., Ltd. The second project is ready for starting and the evaluation of the feasibility study report will soon begin. June 28, 2007: GrandTrend sent a group led by project manager He Jiping to Tongyu of Jilin Province and Qijiashan, Shangyi of Hebei Province to conduct on-the-spot investigation in the areas planned for wind farms. Through on-the-spot investigation, the group gained a detailed information and first-hand technical data on the topographic feature and configuration of the land, which would provide a secure material for the high quality feasible study reports for the clients. June 22, 2007:  GrandTrend president Xiao Lejian paid a visit to vice general manager Wang Minhao of China Hydropower Engineering Consulting Group Co. (CHECC). They talked and exchanged views on the cooperation in such fields as hydropower, new energies (especially wind power) and engineering consultancy. The talk was also joined by GrandTrend’s vice-manager of Management Department Zou Yu’e, project manager Zhang Yujun, CHECC’s director of General Manager Work Office Wang Kaicheng, director of Planning and Operation Department Kong De’an and director of Department of Electricity Generation with New Energy Project Yi Yuechun.
